Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data CaMSOb collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies to CaMSOb given its subscriber base in the European Union, regardless of where CaMSOb itself is based.

Who Controls Your Data

What Data We Collect

  • Account information: your name and email address, provided when you subscribe.
  • Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. CaMSOb does not directly store your full card details.
  • Basic usage data: pages visited and general engagement with the Service, via Ghost's built-in analytics.
  • Communications: any emails or messages you send us directly

Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

  • To fulfill your subscription and deliver CaMSOb publications (legal basis: contract).
  • To process payments securely (legal basis: contract, via our processor Stripe).
  • To send you service-related communications, such as billing notices or changes to these policies (legal basis: legitimate interest / contract).
  • To understand general readership trends and improve the Service (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Who We Share Data With

CaMSOb shares data only with the service providers necessary to operate the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Ghost(Pro) — website hosting, membership management, and email delivery

CaMSOb does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example, to hosting or payment infrastructure located elsewhere), this is done through providers who maintain their own GDPR-compliant transfer safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your account and subscription data for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request earlier deletion, subject to those legal requirements.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sokserei@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Cookies

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email or through the Service.
